Who am I? Sheree Stephenson that’s who.
I am an accomplished interdisciplinary designer and illustrator, working in the web, print and broadcast industries since 2001. My primary interest is to explore the possibilities created by the interaction between the various forms of media. I have served as lead designer on interactive web projects for clients including Changents.com, The Canadian Children’s Book Center, Artmob, and the WWE. In addition to new media design, I have am also active in the broadcast design industry working with clients such as Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network and Worldways Social Marketing. I recently designed and directed a series of award winning animated commercials for Children’s Hospital and Clinics of Minnesota and was the lead designer and illustrator on an award winning animated and live action children’s special with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra and TVO. I round out my design skill set by providing print design services to my web and broadcast clients - frequently designing signage, magazine ads, marketing materials and corporate stationary.

How did I get here? Computers of course. Actually it all started with art school...
Education
- Sheridan College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning; Ontario College Graduate Certificate in New Media Design in 2001
- Queen’s University; Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1999
- Advanced Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator. Intermediate Fireworks, Flash and Final Cut Pro. Basic: After Effects and Cinema 4D
- Strong illustration skills with an emphasis on creating for projects children’s media
- Web design with a robust knowledge of usability design, Flash animation with an understanding of the strengths and limitations of action scripting, concept design for broadcast animation, print design, illustration and character design.
- Capable of leading teams of designers and developers to see projects through to completion.
