Description: This one hour children’s special, is a live action/animated production of a play performed in conjunction with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra. Trace Pictures hired me at the beginning of this project as the production designer and lead animation designer. I was responsible for the overall visual themes and design of the animated environments. This included such roles as designing print materials and initial concept frames for the pitch, creating a new design for the puppeteer's bird costume. I was also responsible for designing plate shots for projections that were used during the live performance with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra. These plates form the basis of the animated environments. My work on this project continued as the lead designer working with the animation team at Trace Picture to create the environments and characters for the animated sequences.
